Hommie’s 22nd! April 18, 2011

Planned out a surprised ‘party’ for hommie with her friends last week. Planning a surprise with insiders are so convenient. lol I told Vicky (hommie’s sis in law) to tell Lynn that she will be bringing us out for dinner around 7pm. (so that Lynn get changed after work, who wouldn’t want to look nice if you’ll be surprised ryte? lol imo.) And also 7pm because the rest were suppose to be here by then, but due to unforeseen circumstances the party delayed an hour. Thus, I told Vicky that the rest can only be here around 8pm. So Vicky told Lynn that we need to wait for her brother for dinner*scapegoat. HAHA*. (he only get off work at 9pm on that day)

I was panicking in the room because my dear friend was tired and getting pissy because she needed to wait slightly longer for dinner. loll She slept while waiting..so she was pretty grumpy when we told her it’s time to ‘go’. And…the pictures will take it from here. hah.

Summer Holidays April 8, 2011

Ahh..time to add some ‘spice’ here again since it’s being abandoned. again.
.
So, I was back in Malaysia for two months (31st Dec 2010 – 28th Feb 2011). Did a month of Summer Course in Curtin University back in Metropolitan College, went to Genting Highlands one of the weekend and Penang Island around end of January with the boyfriend and friends.
.
The most comment that I got when I was back was, “aiyo..fat edy ar you?”. tsk. One of it was from the boyfriend’s fifth aunt that I can remember vividly. LOL! I was in the car in front of her house and she was at her corridor, I winded down the window to said hie and she said “wah face rounder edy ar? good good looks better (in hokkien)”. lol Rounder face and good doesn’t go along for me. Seriously don’t like it that the fats are building up on my face only. ughh
.

Beef Lasagne November 16, 2010

My second attempt! Actually..should consider it as first..since this time with better recipe + complete ingredients. *obviously complete ingredients, i head out today to buy everything. heh* and you know what? I took almost 3 hours to prepare everything..from cutting to cleaning. omg so long. Will make this for my family when i’m back. Since my family loves Italian food. Ohh and i can cook carbonara from scratch also. Thanks to Vicky (Lynn’s bro’s gf). *psst, way better than the recipe from the cafe i used to work at* tsktsk I should start practicing on my oriental cuisines also..can’t be feeding my future husband Italian food only. eehehe

It got to be a bit dry..so that the lasagne won’t be watery.

At first, i was panicking cause it was so watery and i was thinking how the heck will it be thick.
And later on, it got thicker..and i think it got too thick. tsk. >.>
